There's just something special about personalizing an item. As a mom, I love seeing the name I picked placed on a special item. Sure the store sold the blanket to thousands, but my baby's is special because it has his name on it. When we started embroidering things, we learned quickly that personalizing was something that really made people happy. Whether it was a headband or a jacket, everyone loves seeing their name or the name of that little person they've been waiting to see. We've since explored the world of embroidery to incorporate personalized designs and even several cool expressions and designs. There seems to be no limit to the embroidery world!
So what kinds of things can we embroider? Well, we've done a lot with cottons, flannels, and canvas, but we're sure other fabrics can work. The better question is what kinds of designs do we do. The answer to that is just about everything! Here's a quick run-down of some of our favorite projects: receiving blankets, onesies, pajamas, tote bags, bibs, pants, headbands, and jackets. Some of our favorite designs are: Mommy's little charmer (St. Pat's), Choo, Choo, I'm 2, Mommy's little Cuddlebug, Daddy's Little Tiger, Captain Adorable, the Mizzou logo, the Knight's of Columbus logo, I am a Gift, and Hello I am a Miracle.
Even though we can do a lot, there are some limits. Our hoop is a 4x4 (we're upgrading to a 4x6 in April). This is the perfect size for kids. We can move the hoop, too, if the design dictates. When it comes to embroidery, though, there's not a lot we can't do. We have embroidered onto lots of different fabrics and items. And Stacy has worked countless hours digitizing designs we can't find (she's made an awesome Mizzou and Illini logo!). If we can't embroider on it, then we'll work to find you someone who can. Don't forget to check out the samplings of work we've done. Either watch the slide show to the right or click on the link to the right (for a more detailed slideshow). We hope you'll give us a try!
